PC Shooting Games are available in a number of fun formats. For instance, real-time and turn-based strategy shooting games test your tactical skill. Similar itch-scratching puzzle shooting games usually include twitchy, block-dropping, or item-shifting obstacles. The shooter, on the other hand, is a very well-liked genre that puts your capacity to keep firing until your foes are reduced to mush to the test.

Borderlands 2
With Borderlands 2, the warzone’s comedic creator Gearbox Entertainment and publisher 2K Shooting Games return. The gameplay of this first-person shooter is familiar to anyone who have played the original Borderlands.
As a treasure hunter searching for an alien vault on a newly inhabited planet, you play as a Vault Hunter. You amass hundreds of various weaponry during the chuckle-inducing quest, each with its own special stats and characteristics. You can kill an apparently endless amount of robots, mutants, and raiders in the Mad Max manner thanks to the heavy metal.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
With an emphasis change from WWII campaigns to space exploration to battle royale combat, the Call of Duty brand has been all over the place lately. Even if Call of Duty has deviated from its core, the first-person shooter franchise is grounded by the Infinity Ward-created remake of the ground-breaking 2007 game.
Modern Warfare skillfully eliminates any extraneous components while still offering the tactical single-player and powerful multiplayer modes one would expect from a Call of Duty game. But it doesn’t mean Modern Warfare is devoid of fascinating features. A brand-new morality system that assesses your ability to correctly distinguish innocent bystanders from real dangers in the single-player campaign has been added to the game.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
One of the most recognizable shooting games of its age is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (also known as CS: GO), a free-to-play offering from Valve. CS:GO is a fast-paced first-person shooter from 2012 that nevertheless competes well with more recent shooting games because to a rich FPS legacy that includes the original Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike: Source.

Demons have invaded and occupied Earth in Doom Eternal, and your player-character, the Doom Slayer, must fight to expel the monstrosities. The Doom Slayer’s roots are one of the more significant plot components included in Doom Eternal compared to Doom 2016, yet it isn’t what draws most people in. The only real goal of Doom Eternal is to exterminate demons in ever-more gruesome and terrible methods.
Doom Eternal is a great sequel to one of the finest modern shooters available, with excellent stage-navigation choices, countless secrets to discover, and a new 2-vs.-1 multiplayer Battlemode.
Gears 5
Don’t be misled: This is still a Gears of War game through and through even if Gears 5 from Xbox Game Studios is the series’ first major entry without the “of War” prefix.
Gears of War 5 is a direct sequel to Gears of War 4 and continues the conflict between the Coalition of Ordered Government (COG) and the alien Swarm. Gears 5’s superb visuals, strong shoot-and-cover gameplay, and fascinating narrative make up for its fairly decent multiplayer features. Even yet, Gears 5 is a simple recommendation for fans of the franchise and beginners alike.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
The video game Halo: Combat Evolved launched a well-known Microsoft series and made the first Xbox famous. It popularized many of the controls and features that first-person shooter (FPS) video shooting games would employ. For decades following as well as redesigned the genre for consoles. Doom may very well have returned its first-person shooter crown with the game’s release in 2016.
The shooter initially debuted on PC with the recently remastered Halo: Reach, which is a part of the Halo: Master Chief Collection compilation that includes and upgrades every mainstream Halo product, save Halo 5. In addition to additional PC-related features that weren’t included in the Xbox 360 original. The game now supports 4K visuals, ultrawide monitors, and other anticipated PC-related features. However, the clumsy user interface and grating audio difficulties do take away.
Halo Infinite

Overwatch is a wonderfully entertaining first-person shooter that pack with cheers and mechanical variation. It has colorful environments, numerous game modes that revolve on teams assaulting and defending, lore-drenched characters with wildly divergent play styles, and a few MOBA-like gameplay innovations.
Survivor Evil 2
Following Resident Evil 7’s commercial success, Capcom unveiled Resident Evil 2, a recreation of the popular PS1 original. This game revamped the classic title’s controls and mechanics and added top-notch graphics, audio, and shooting action. It was still very true to the first game, however.

Superhot
Many shooter game creators are content to publish titles that uphold the existing quo. The creative team of Superhot, Superhot Team, is not. Without exaggeration, Superhot is the most avant-garde shooter to appear in a while.
Quick, bite-sized morsels of programmed carnage mix with puzzle components and an odd meta-narrative in the first-person shooter. Superhot may seem at first glance to be a short, straightforward game with terrible visuals. But its time-pausing system will have you going back for more stunning kills.
Vanquish
Motion describe by Merriam-Webster as “an act, process, or occurrence of shifting location.” That definition also sums up Vanquish, a third-person shooter from Platinum Shooting Games. This is tremendously inventive and in which stagnant play results in an early demise.
As you destroy mechs, vehicles, opposing soldiers, and super-powered monsters in a near-future environment. Vanquish’s dynamic, jet-powered combat adds visual flare (now remastered in 4K) and a tremendous feeling of movement. Vanquish’s distinctive power-armor take on the shooter genre could be the game to convince you to strap on your in-game weaponry if Geometry Dash and Call of Duty have put you off of the genre.
