Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji better known as KSI is an English YouTuber, musician, rapper and boxer. In 2019 he was ranked 2nd by the Sunday Times in its list of top 100 UK influencers. KSI Net Worth is $20 million.


KSI was born on 19 June 1993. His father is from Ibadan and his mother is from Islington,  London. He was educated at Berkhamsted School in Berkhamsted, where he met his future collaborator and member of sidemen Simon Minter.

YouTube  career:

KSI registered his first youtube channel under the name ‘Jide Junior’ in 2008 while he was an early teenager. He registered his current youtube account on 24 July 2009 under the name KSIOlajideBT. He uploaded gaming commentary videos of the FIFA video game series. He was dropped out of college to pursue his youtube career. In 2012 the channel reached a million subscribers.  But he was also heavily criticized over a controversy of sexual harassment of female staff at a Euro-gamer event in 2012.

By 2013, he had three million subscribers, and this led to the creation of sidemen. Sidemen is the collective group of seven British you tubers. As a group they make an estimated $12500 by selling their own merchandise as well as from their monetized views.

In 2015, Forbes estimated that KSI has around $4.5 million net worth making him one of the highest-paid youtube stars of the year. With some of his videos earning as much as $250000 from advertising, he would have been doing far better today in terms of wealth collection.

Creation of Sidemen group:

Since 19 October 2013 KSI has been a part of a British YouTube group known as the Sidemen.  The group produces online videos, consisting of challenges, sketches and video game commentary. In 2015 KSI published a biography title KSI: I am a Bellend. In 2016, KSI and sidemen published Sidemen: The book, which sold 26,436 copies within three days and topped the charts.

Youtube Boxing:

After his rifts with Joe Weller, KSI announced an amateur boxing match with Joe Weller to settle the feud. The match was held at Copper Box Arena on3 February 2018. The fight was won by KSI. On YouTube, the fight drew 1.6 million live viewers, 21 million views within a day and 25 million over the next few days.

Fight with Logan Paul:

On 24 February 2018, it was announced that KSI would be fighting with American you tuber Logan Paul. The fight ended as a majority draw. It was described as the biggest white-collar boxing match in history by The Independent

About a year later KSI and Logan Paul had a rematch which also ended in a draw. According to The Mirror, the two you tubers earned $900000 payback each from their rematch.


In 2015 KSI released his firs single on youtube. His songs were among the top charts but in 2019 he gained real fame and got onto top 20. his album Dissimulation did very well as two of the singles got up to top 10 positions on the charts.


In 2016, KSI had featured in a starring role in the direct to video comedy Laid in America. There is no clear estimate of his earnings from the film but it supposedly did well as KSI promoted it heavily on youtube. Two years later a documentary was filmed on his preparations for the fight with Joe Weller and it was known as KSI: can’t lose. this documentary arouses the interest of the public in the fight.
