The Faculty of Law, established in 2014 at SGT University, has statutory recognition from The Bar Council of India and the Government of India. The classrooms and lecture halls are provided with the primary amenities; the needed resources are equipped in the library and revised from time to time. A “Moot Court” is provided to simulate a court hearing. Apart from academic infrastructure, the University also includes canteen, hostel and transport facilities for the students.
The Moot court is stimulation of an actual court hearing where a student gets the real experience of a court hearing. The students are given a problem where they are asked to examine it, research it, prepare the needed documents and present their oral arguments before their superiors.
The summer and winter internships take place for the Law students of SGT University, where students are sent to the following areas:-

- High courts and Supreme Court,
- Multinational Companies
- Tribunals.
The internships help a student to gain practical and out of the box knowledge and makes them automatically better than the rest.
